Water Access
Glynn County gives boaters access to several different coastal environments. The Brunswick and South Brunswick rivers provide access around Brunswick and Blythe Island, while the MacKay River and Village Creek serve St. Simons Island. Jekyll Creek provides access from Jekyll Island, and Altamaha Regional Park offers a northern Glynn County launch on the Altamaha River.
Because several of these waterways are tidal, conditions and usable water can change significantly with the tide. Village Creek, for example, is specifically noted by DNR as becoming shallow during low tide. Coastal DNR
