Richmond Hill Wildlife Management Area

Georgia DNR also lists the Richmond Hill Wildlife Management Area as a coastal boating access point. Current DNR information does not provide the same detailed ramp specifications published for the other Bryan County launches, so it is best treated as a separate WMA access point rather than assuming it has the same facilities as the developed ramps above. Water Access

Ogeechee River: Fort McAllister Boat Ramp

Redbird Creek: Fort McAllister State Park

Demeries Creek: GA Highway 144

Richmond Hill WMA: DNR-listed coastal boating access

Fort McAllister is particularly useful for anglers because the park provides access to both the Ogeechee River and Redbird Creek, along with fishing facilities and docks. Georgia State Parks

Georgia's coastal ramps can develop steep drop-offs from tidal erosion, especially around low tide. DNR recommends checking the ramp end carefully before backing a trailer into the water. Coastal DNR
