Fishing Tips
Plan around the tide. Moving water can bring baitfish through the channel and past structure. Check the tide forecast before leaving home.
Try natural bait. Shrimp and cut bait are practical starting points for bottom fishing. Artificial paddletail lures can also be worth trying for redfish and trout.
Be prepared for current. Adjust your sinker weight so your bait stays where you want it without creating a hazard for other anglers.
Watch your footing. These structures are beside a busy causeway. Stay within designated access areas, supervise children, and keep clear of traffic.
